Troubleshooting: URL failed to load
This usually means the server hosting the zip doesn't allow cross-origin requests. Run this in a terminal to diagnose:
1. Check for redirects
If you see a 3xx status with a Location header, the URL redirects. Try the destination URL directly in this player instead. If the redirect response has no Access-Control-Allow-Origin header, the browser will block it regardless of the destination.
2. Check CORS and range support on the final URL
Look for:
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * (or your origin)
Accept-Ranges: bytes
If either is missing, the server needs its CORS and/or range request configuration updated.
3. Check the preflight (OPTIONS) response
The response must include Access-Control-Allow-Headers that permits Range. Without this, the browser won't send range requests.
